Antwerp students have known StuDay for years as an unforgettable welcome party at the beginning of the academic year. With StuDay we set Spoor Oost on fire with a mix of four zones.
Dance to the hottest beats in the Dance zone and play sports and challenge each other in the Play zone. The Recharge zone is there for relaxing a while and in the Discover zone you can discover what Antwerp has to offer you.
And all that on the last Thursday of September from 1:30 pm until 10 pm! Are you ready for this amazing day?
To really get to know Antwerp, you should come and live here! This city is not your average student city and you’re going to need more than four academic years to understand that!
Long before you were born, Antwerp already held the title of 'cultural capital' and now that title counts more than ever. In the Discover zone, we are happy to put you on the road to all the beauty that Antwerp has to offer!

Let's celebrate!
All over the StuDay grounds you can loosen up your legs, but at the iconic cranes the beats will be that little bit harder and fiercer. Live acts and DJs alternate so you can party with old and new friends to kick off the new academic year.
In front of the stage or on the stage, because yes, you too can become one of the 28 artists who will ensure that StuDay 2024 will be long remembered by Antwerp students.
Of course, it doesn't stop after StuDay. After 10 pm, you can continue dancing at one of the official StuDay afterparties spread throughout the city.
VI.BE CONTEST
Do you harbour musical ambitions? Do you dream of a screaming and vibrating mass to your musical tones? Then roll your sleeves up, because this year again, STAN is reserving the first two spots at the beginning of the line up for tomorrow's Netsky's and Bazarts.
For the dance stage we are looking for young lions to help get the party started! Send us your best set through vi.be no later than Thursday, September 19 and blow us away.

Always on the run? Then be sure to check out our Play zone. In this zone you challenge yourself, friends or even another club in unique sports and game activities. The Red Bull Defender DJs provide the right atmosphere and encourage you with pumping beats!

BREAK A SWEAT!
After a good sports session you will feel reborn! So challenge each other before and after the StuDay Club Challenge to our crazy sports activities, like our extreme track or feel like a member of a racing team and jump on an electric BMW motorbike.
And there is no time like the present, especially when it comes to scheduling your weekly sports moments and for no money at all! Your student facilities will organise a whole year of sports activities for no money with the Sportsticker+!
STUDAY CLUB CHALLENGE
StuDay is the time to defend your friends or student club. In the StuDay Club Challenge, 20 teams compete against each other for eternal glory (or at least for a year), the one and only StuDay Club Challenge Trophy and nice prices.

The competition will take place between 3pm and 5pm. Before and after, the Play Zone is for anyone who wants to get rid of some energy. A team consists of five to ten people. First come, first served. The first 20 teams are guaranteed a place. Those who register later will be put on the waiting list. Participation as a team is free. To give all Antwerp clubs a chance, a second team from the same club may only participate if there are no other clubs on the waiting list.
RECHARGE
Antwerp has everything you need to feel good during your academic years. Okay, okay, it takes some time to get to know us, but then we'll be in your heart forever.

And your heart, we are already eager to start conquering it on StuDay, the kickoff of the academic year by STAN and its partners to appropriately welcome you to the best student city in Flanders! Yes, a little chauvinism is allowed at times ;)
Dive in the RECHARGE ZONE!
Lounge in the coziest part of the festival grounds with old buddies and new besties while sipping a nice drink and lining your stomach. Pick up a podcast or comedy show on the brand new stage and then dance the night away to your favourite feel good music with the friends of Rads van Buiten. Are your dancing legs tired? Why not go to the students of Kinesia for a massage or listen to relaxing music in a sensory-calm zone.

Chilling out is fun, but learning something new is even more fun. Between 2 pm and 6 pm you can participate in a Gentle flow yoga or Soft pilates workshop every half hour. No prior knowledge or registration is required and all exercises can be performed in your most fashionable festival outfit. Rather the artistic type? Then the graffiti workshop is for you!

In Antwerp you can be part of a cosy and diverse student community and shape your student life the way you want it. Whether that's with culture, sports, healthy food, shopping, online & offline connections, an empathetic ear and disconnecting when you need it ... a bit of each or all together? We are confident that your personal student journey starts best with us! A new academic year, that's perfect timing for a new look. In our beauty boudoir, it's all glitter and glamour. The students of the beauty schools Academy Verbist and Stedelijk Lyceum Olympiade pamper you so you can start the new academic year radiant. Go for braids that will make famous insta bloggers instantly jealous and finally wind your crush around your finger with your perfect smokey eyes (instant killer look guaranteed). But real beauty comes from within! A radiant look starts with a relaxed mind. Let yourself be taken care of by the masseurs of student club Kinesia, crawl on the chair at Psynet, listen to relaxing music in a sensory-calm zone, but above all, get to know CABIN. This newbie at GATE15 is opening its doors this academic year as a warm meeting place. In the Great Antwerp Student Survey you placed mental well-being high on the agenda. So STAN joined forces with JAC Antwerp and founded CABIN. Here you can just be yourself, without obligations. In CABIN you can find peace and quiet, follow workshops, meet other students and find an empathetic ear if you need one. At CABIN, self-care is key: you are welcome here both on your good and bad days, to chill, talk, do some studying ... always room for coffee and a chat. But there's more! Every month we put together a program of inspiring group activities, always adapted to the moment in the academic year. So you can follow a workshop to manage your exam stress during the exams, meet new fellow students during a game night or learn to give your room a sustainable makeover for no money ... And the best part: you can provide input for these workshops, because everything is for students, by students. You’re the Antwerp Student community
Antwerp is not only the largest Flemish city, but with its 55 000 students (say whaattt?!) it is also the second largest student city in Flanders. More than 200 courses, spread over more than 30 campuses at eight universities and colleges, annually attract a lot of talented people from home and abroad. That makes the city vibrant on campus and far beyond. For those Antwerp students, STAN has been organising the welcome party StuDay since 2004. Not just a free party, but a unique moment to bring all Antwerp students together in one location, to welcome them to Antwerp, to introduce them to each other and to what the city has to offer. With this annual kickoff we start the academic year together partying, discovering and dancing. StuDay is an annual milestone for thousands of students. It is an event where all students can join the Antwerp student community and feel safe and welcome. Regardless of skin color, gender, religion, origin, disability, sexuality or language. How do we do that? In collaboration with safe 'n sound, we are organising a safer space again, and linked to it, a sensory-calm space. Here you can find peace with or without relaxing music through noise cancelling headphones, recharge your cell phone or meet up with friends if you have lost them. In the safe space you can go if you are confronted with transgressive behavior and/or need a listening ear. We also raise awareness about this safe environment and desired behavior through messages in various places - from posters in the toilets and bars to projections on the LED wall - and we brief all employees, partners and security about the safe space. You will also find a diverse choice of drinks and food. Besides a delicious fatty snack (fried in vegetable oil of course) you can also choose from veggie dishes and numerous healthier alternatives at our food market. And yes, pints taste good, but they’re not necessary. That's why our non-alcoholic drinks are getting cheaper and you can just tap free water in your reusable cup at all our water points. We respect current regulations, which means no drugs on StuDay. Be a grown up, they are really not allowed. Something does go wrong? Then you can contact one of our staff members, in the safer space and at the first aid point. We don't make the best version of StuDay alone, but together with you! - Respect your own boundaries and those of others. - Take care of your friends. - There is room for everyone. - If you see something inappropriate happening, signal it to one of the StuDay staff. - Last but not least: Have fun and make it unforgettable!

STAN stimulates students to let them make the most out of their student lives. Not just by partying, but by letting them develop their talents to the max.
