StuDay goes green!
We shouldn't be naive about it…
An event for 20,000 visitors has an impact on the environment. Transport, logistics, electricity and the air do not become cleaner. Step by step we are working on making StuDay a more sustainable event .
Reusable cups & catering equipment
We serve all drinks at the bar in reusable cups, for which you pay a one time two euro deposit. When you order a new drink, your dirty cup is exchanged for a clean one. When you leave StuDay, you exchange your cup back at the recycle point and get a scan code to claim your deposit.
Food partners also serve all their treats in reusable catering materials. For each catering item (plate, bowl, fork) you pay a two euro deposit to the food stands. You get this back digitally afterwards via a scan code at the recycle point.
Less and better separated waste on the grounds
Not only do we reduce waste with the reusable cups and catering material, but you can also easily sort your waste thanks to the different garbage cans.
Hike & Bike
Get to StuDay in a sustainable way. Spoor Oost is easily accessible by public transportation and/or partial systems. Find your ideal match at www.slimnaarantwerpen.be and be sure to check out their trial offerings especially for StuDay.
Or come with your own bike, because thanks to the large bike parking, there's no reason to leave your steel steed at home.

Velo Antwerp will inform you on site about the use of their typical red sharing bikes and in the run-up area at the entrance you can also have your own bike checked in our bike repair shop.
Bike repair shop
In collaboration with Swapfiets and Werkmmaat
Bring your own bike to StuDay and drop it off at the Bike Repair Shop in our bike park. While you're dancing the night away, your bike will receive the necessary tender, love and care. On the menu: air in your tires, a check of your brake pads and lights and a lubricated chain.
Attention! First come, first served.
We offer this service until capacity permits.
Drop your bike off at 1:30 pm and pick it up again before 10:30 pm.
